I am a Central Valley of Californian and attended public and parochial schools. I am a graduate of Madera High School. From Madera Community College/Fresno City College, I earned A.A. and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Math concentration from California State University, Fresno.  I am a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Single Subject Credential in Mathematics teacher.


I have 20 years of experience in public education. 

My experience consists of homeschooling my own children for their first five grades, teaching 2 years of Science/Math in after-school programs for elementary school, teaching Junior High for 2 years in multiple subjects, high school, and adults in mathematics for High School graduation. 

I taught High School Mathematics for 15 years: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. I have taught in an independent study school, regular high school and have experience in working with students one-on-one, in small groups, and a classroom. I taught for Madera and Fresno Unified School Districts. I substitute taught in Clovis, Fresno, Chowchilla and Madera. 


I have passed the CBEST, CSET for Multiple Subject, and CSET for Mathematics exams.  I have the ability to teach both the core math and skills in multiple choice test taking as well as the Common Core exams.
